Job Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation
- Less than high school education or up to one-month related experience or training
- Ability to read 2-3 syllable words
- Ability to print clearly
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to perform basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with 10’s and 100’s
- Knowledge of American measurement systems
- Valid driver’s license if driving vehicle on business time
- Proof of vehicle registration and insurance if driving
- Willingness to follow safety procedures and company policies
Job Qualifications
- Must have reliable transportation
- Less than high school education or up to one-month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read 2-3 syllable words and recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
- Ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s
- Knowledge of American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, distance and measures such as cups, pints, quarts, gallons
- Valid driver’s license if driving own or company vehicle on business time, along with proof of vehicle registration and insurance
- Bilingual is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Floor care including vacuuming, mopping, carpet spotting
- Surface care including dusting, sanitizing, cleaning glass, mirrors, windows, metal and wood polishing, cleaning blinds and draperies
- Waste removal including emptying trash and recycle bins, transporting trash and waste to proper disposal areas
- Light maintenance such as replacing light bulbs and restocking supply cabinet or room
- Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures, stopping at risk behavior
- Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules
- Take direction and respond to supervision
- Use proper personal protective equipment
- Present a professional appearance and conduct
- Understand reporting systems and the environment
- Transport small equipment, tools, chairs, and tables, straighten areas such as lobbies and conference rooms
- Pick up trash, recycling, and compost bins and transport to proper disposal areas
- Assist janitorial staff with restocking restrooms and break rooms
- Perform restroom cleaning, glass cleaning, spot clean upholstered furniture and carpets, and dust open common spaces
