Job Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- less than high school education or up to one month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- ability to read 2-3 syllable words, recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
- ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
- ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
- know how to add and subtract two-digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10s and 100s
- knowledge of American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, distance and measures such as cups, pints, quarts, gallons
- required to have a valid driver’s license if driving own vehicle or company vehicle on business time, and proof of vehicle registration and insurance
- bilingual is a plus but not required
Job Qualifications

- valid driver’s license if driving own or company vehicle, with proof of registration and insurance
- bilingual skills are a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Floor care including vacuuming, mopping, carpet spotting
- surface care such as dusting, sanitizing, glass/mirror/window cleaning, polishing metal and wood, cleaning blinds and draperies
- waste removal including emptying trash and recycle bins and transporting waste to proper disposal areas
- light maintenance tasks like replacing light bulbs and restocking supply cabinets or rooms
- complying with safety rules, policies, and procedures
- following all company protocols, procedures, policies, and rules
- taking direction and responding to supervision
- using proper personal protective equipment
- presenting a professional appearance and conduct
- understanding reporting systems and environmental responsibilities
- transporting small equipment, tools, chairs, and tables and straightening areas such as lobbies and conference rooms
- assisting janitorial staff by restocking restrooms and break rooms, cleaning elevators, spot cleaning upholstered furniture and carpets, and dusting open common spaces
