Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior custodial or facilities experience required
- Ability to follow structured routines and adhere to protocols
- Ability to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 40 lbs
- Ability to balance, bend, climb, crouch, kneel, reach, push, stoop, stand, and sit
- Ability to use heavy cleaning equipment if needed
- Ability to use a computer and keyboard
- Punctual with consistent attendance practices
- Participate and pass required trainings including First Aid, CPR, and Bloodborne Pathogens
- Calm demeanor and emotional regulation
- Respect for student dignity, privacy, and safety
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior custodial or facilities experience required
- Experience in clinical, healthcare, or special education settings preferred
- Familiarity with infection control practices and use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and track work orders
- Ability to follow structured routines and adhere to protocols
- Demonstrated reliability, discretion, and professionalism
- Self-starter
- Comfortable working autonomously
Job Duties
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in classrooms, restrooms, sensory spaces, offices, and common areas
- Conduct routine monitoring and timely cleaning of high-use areas
- Respond promptly to spills, accidents, and biohazard situations using approved protocols
- Restock hygiene and sanitation supplies
- Follow all health, safety, confidentiality, and compliance requirements
- Interact with students and staff in a calm, respectful, and professional manner
- Collaborate with Facilities Maintenance Specialist to support daily operations
- Observe and report safety, maintenance, or environmental concerns to supervisor
