Job Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation
- Less than high school education or up to one month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read 2-3 syllable words and recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
- Ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and multiply/divide with 10s and 100s
- Knowledge of American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, distance, and liquid measures such as cups, pints, quarts, gallons
- Required to have a valid driver’s license if driving own vehicle or company vehicle on business time, with proof of vehicle registration and insurance
- Bilingual is a plus, not required

Job Duties
- Floor care including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet spotting
- Surface care such as dusting, sanitizing, cleaning glass/mirrors/windows, polishing metal and wood, and cleaning blinds and draperies
- Waste removal including emptying trash and recycle bins and transporting waste to disposal areas
- Light maintenance tasks like replacing light bulbs and restocking supply cabinets or rooms
- Complying with safety rules, policies, and procedures
- Following all company protocols, procedures, and rules
- Taking direction and responding to supervision
- Using proper personal protective equipment
- Presenting a professional appearance and conduct
- Understanding reporting systems and environmental conditions
- Transporting small equipment, tools, chairs, and tables
- Straightening areas such as lobbies and conference rooms
- Picking up trash, recycling, and compost, and transporting to proper disposal areas
- Assisting janitorial staff with restocking restrooms and break rooms
- Cleaning elevators
- Spot cleaning upholstered furniture and carpets
- Dusting open common spaces
