Job Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation
- Less than high school education or equivalent experience
- Ability to read two to three syllable words
- Ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Knowledge of American measurements of money, weight, size, length, shapes, distance, and volume units
- Valid driver’s license if driving own or company vehicle
- Proof of vehicle registration and insurance if applicable
- Bilingual is a plus
Job Qualifications
- Less than high school education or up to one-month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read two to three syllable words and recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
- Ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
- Effective communication skills with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
- Basic math skills including addition and subtraction of two-digit numbers, and multiplication and division by 10s and 100s
- Knowledge of American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, distance and common measurement units such as cups, pints, quarts, and gallons
- Valid driver’s license required if driving own or company vehicle
- Bilingual skills are a plus but not required
- Must have reliable transportation
Job Duties
- Perform floor care including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet spotting
- Provide surface care including dusting, sanitizing, glass, mirror, and window cleaning, metal and wood polishing, clean blinds and draperies
- Remove waste by emptying trash and recycle bins and transporting trash to proper disposal areas
- Conduct light maintenance duties such as replacing light bulbs and restocking supply cabinets and rooms
- Comply with all safety rules, policies, and procedures and report any risk behaviors
- Follow company protocols, procedures, policies, and rules
- Take direction and respond to supervision appropriately
- Use proper personal protective equipment
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct
- Understand and utilize reporting systems effectively
- Transport small equipment, tools, chairs, and tables, straighten work areas including lobbies and conference rooms
- Clean drop-in desktops between events
- Assist janitorial staff with restroom and break room restocking and cleaning
- Damp mop floors, clean glass surfaces, restock and organize janitorial closets and storage areas
- Clean elevators, spot clean upholstered furniture and carpets, and dust open common spaces
