Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, trade, technical, or vocational school
- Some related experience
- Ability to follow safety protocols and procedures
- Ability to effectively communicate and understand instructions
- Physical ability to perform cleaning and maintenance duties including lifting up to 25 pounds
- Willingness to work evenings or weekends on call in case of an emergency
- Ability to travel between properties and work outside in varying weather conditions
- Reliable and organized work ethic
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, trade, technical, or vocational school
- Some related experience preferred
- Knowledge of safe use of cleaning agents and equipment
- Basic mechanical knowledge preferred
- Effective listening and communication skills
- Ability to understand written or verbal instructions
- Practice necessary safety protocols and procedures

- Ability to follow through and carry out work orders
Job Duties
- Daily interior cleaning of the building including emptying waste receptacles, debris and trash removal, vacuuming/shampooing floors and carpets, dusting and cleaning furniture, cleaning and restocking restrooms, washing walls, polishing, mopping floors, placing down mats/runners in inclement weather, cleaning up spills, cleaning windows and window coverings in accordance with established procedures and as directed by a supervisor
- May be required to perform exterior building and premises cleaning and basic maintenance including exterior walls and windows, parking lots and structures, walkways and paths, gardens and lawns, outdoor furnishings, pools/fountains/spas, curbs/gutters, exterior hallways and stairwells
- May be directed to assist with minor maintenance and repair work including painting, replacement of light bulbs and fixtures (interior and exterior), replacement of windows, moving furniture and equipment, repairing doors and gates, minor landscaping and related upkeep and repairs, and simple plumbing and fixture repairs/replacements
- Other assigned duties may include gardening and lawn care, assisting with inventory control and supply ordering, snow removal including salting/sanding, and assisting with tenant moves
- Promptly notify management of spills, emergency situations, need for major and minor building/facility repairs, broken lights and equipment, damaged structures, ruptured pipes/plumbing, problems with heating/cooling and ventilation, and any other observable safety issues/concerns
- Properly and safely use and operate related equipment, tools, devices, and chemical/cleaning agents including mops, vacuums, electric polishing machines, power tools and equipment, and special cleaning solutions to efficiently perform duties and avoid harm to floors, fixtures, individuals, and themselves
