Job Requirements

  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Less than high school education or equivalent experience
  • Ability to read and recognize word patterns and basic numbers
  • Ability to print clearly and communicate verbally
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide basic numbers
  • Knowledge of American measurement units
  • Valid driver's license if operating a vehicle for work
  • Proof of vehicle registration and insurance if driving
  • Willingness to follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment
  • Ability to work cooperatively with team members and supervisors

Job Qualifications

  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Possess less than high school education or up to one-month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read 2-3 syllable words and recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
  • Ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
  • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
  • Knowledge of basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction of two-digit numbers, and multiplication/division with 10s and 100s
  • Familiarity with American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, distance, and volume measures such as cups, pints, quarts, and gallons
  • Valid driver's license required if driving a vehicle on company business with proof of registration and insurance
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus but not required

Job Duties

  • Perform floor care including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet spotting
  • Conduct surface care such as dusting, sanitizing, glass and mirror cleaning, and polishing metal and wood surfaces
  • Remove waste by emptying trash and recycling bins and transporting waste to disposal areas
  • Complete light maintenance tasks including replacing light bulbs and restocking supply cabinets or rooms
  • Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures and address risky behaviors
  • Follow all company protocols, procedures, policies, and rules
  • Take direction and respond to supervision effectively
  • Use proper personal protective equipment
  • Present a professional appearance and conduct
  • Understand reporting systems and the work environment
  • Transport small equipment, tools, chairs, and tables, and straighten areas such as lobbies and conference rooms
  • Assist janitorial staff during events by cleaning desktops, restocking restrooms and break rooms, damp mopping floors, cleaning glass surfaces, spot cleaning furniture and carpets, and dusting open common spaces
