Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, trade, technical, or vocational school
- Some related experience
- Ability to safely use cleaning agents and equipment
- Willingness to work evenings or weekends on call in emergencies
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Physical ability to exert up to 25 pounds of force frequently
- Capability to work in varied weather conditions
- Effective communication skills

Job Duties
- Perform daily interior cleaning including emptying waste receptacles,debris and trash removal,vacuuming and shampooing floors and carpets,dusting and cleaning furniture,cleaning and restocking restrooms,washing walls,polishing,mopping floors,placing mats and runners in inclement weather,cleaning up spills,cleaning windows and window coverings as directed
- Perform exterior building and premises cleaning and basic maintenance including exterior walls and windows,parking lots and structures,walkways and paths,gardens and lawns,outdoor furnishings,pools,fountains,spas,curbs,gutters,exterior hallways,and stairwells as required
- Assist with minor maintenance and repair work including painting,replacement of light bulbs and fixtures,replacement of windows,moving furniture and equipment,repairing doors and gates,minor landscaping,simple plumbing and fixture repairs and replacements
- Notify management promptly about spills,emergency situations,building repairs,broken equipment or fixtures,damaged structures,ruptured pipes,heating,cooling and ventilation problems or other safety issues
- Use and operate equipment/tools/cleaning agents safely and properly including mops,vacuums,electric polishing machines,power tools,and special cleaning solutions
- Assist in orientation and training of new employees as directed
- Adhere to proper security procedures and wear personal protective equipment appropriate for the tasks
- Perform additional cleaning-related duties as assigned based on client needs
