Job Requirements
- Less than high school education or up to one-month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to read 2-3 syllable words, recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
- Ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
- Know how to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s
- Know the American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, distance and measures such as cups, pints, quarts, gallons, etc
- Required to have a valid driver’s license if driving own vehicle or company vehicle on business time, and provide proof of vehicle registration and insurance

- Effective communication skills with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with 10s and 100s
- Knowledge of American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, distance, and common measurements such as cups, pints, quarts, and gallons
- Valid driver’s license with proof of vehicle registration and insurance if driving
- Bilingual skills are a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Perform floor care including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet spotting
- Clean surfaces such as dusting, sanitizing, glass and mirror cleaning, metal and wood polishing
- Remove waste by emptying trash and recycling bins and transporting to disposal areas
- Conduct light maintenance including replacing light bulbs and restocking supply cabinets
- Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures and address risk behaviors
- Follow company protocols, procedures, policies, and rules
- Take direction and respond to supervision
- Use proper personal protective equipment
- Maintain professional appearance and conduct
- Transport small equipment, tools, chairs, and tables
- Clean drop-in desktops between events
- Assist janitorial staff with restroom and break room upkeep
- Damp mop floors and perform restroom cleaning
- Restock and organize janitorial closets and storage areas
- Clean elevators and spot clean upholstered furniture and carpets
- Dust open common spaces
