Job Requirements

  • Reliable transportation
  • Less than high school education or equivalent experience
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license if driving vehicle on business time
  • Proof of vehicle registration and insurance if applicable
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to use personal protective equipment
  • Professional appearance and workplace conduct
  • Able to work Monday to Friday 7am to 3:30pm

Job Qualifications

  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Less than high school education or up to one-month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read 2-3 syllable words, recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
  • Ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
  • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
  • Know how to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s
  • Know the American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, distance and measures such as cups, pints, quarts, gallons
  • Required to have a valid driver’s license if driving own vehicle or company vehicle on business time, proof of vehicle registration and insurance
  • Bilingual is a plus, not required

Job Duties

  • Floor care including vacuuming, mopping, carpet spotting
  • Surface care including dusting, sanitizing, glass, mirror, window cleaning, metal and wood polishing, cleaning blinds and draperies
  • Waste removal including emptying trash and recycle bins, transporting trash and waste to proper disposal areas
  • Light maintenance including replacing light bulbs, restocking supply cabinet and room
  • Complying with safety rules, policies, and procedures
  • Following all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules
  • Taking direction and responding to supervision
  • Using proper personal protective equipment
  • Presenting a professional appearance and conduct
  • Understanding reporting systems and environment
  • Transporting small equipment, tools, chairs, tables, and straightening areas such as lobbies and conference rooms
  • Cleaning drop in desktops between events
  • Assisting janitorial staff with restocking restrooms and break rooms
  • Damp mopping floors
  • Restroom cleaning
  • Glass cleaning
  • Restocking and organizing supplies in janitorial closets and storage areas
  • Cleaning elevators
  • Spot cleaning upholstered furniture and carpets
  • Dusting open common spaces
