Job Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- less than high school education or up to one-month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- ability to read 2-3 syllable words
- ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
- ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
- knowledge of basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- knowledge of American measurements such as money, weight, size, and volume
- valid driver’s license if driving own or company vehicle on business time
- proof of vehicle registration and insurance if driving
- willingness to follow instructions
- ability to use personal protective equipment
- professional appearance and conduct
- ability to work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Job Qualifications
- Less than high school education or up to one-month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- ability to read 2-3 syllable words
- recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
- ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
- ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
- basic math skills including adding and subtracting two-digit numbers, multiplying and dividing by 10s and 100s
- knowledge of American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, and standard measurements such as cups, pints, quarts, gallons
- valid driver’s license if driving, with proof of vehicle registration and insurance
- bilingual is a plus but not required
- reliable transportation
Job Duties
- Floor care including vacuuming, mopping, carpet spotting
- surface care including dusting, sanitizing, glass/mirror/window cleaning, metal/wood polishing, cleaning blinds and draperies
- waste removal including emptying trash and recycle bins, transporting trash to proper disposal areas
- light maintenance such as replacing light bulbs, restocking supply cabinet
- comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
- follow all company protocols, procedures, and rules
- take direction and respond to supervision
- use proper personal protective equipment
- present a professional appearance and conduct
- understand reporting systems and environment
- transport small equipment, tools, chairs, tables
- clean and straighten areas such as lobbies and conference rooms
- pick up trash, recycling, compost and transport to disposal areas
- assist janitorial staff with restocking restrooms and break rooms
- damp mop floors
- restroom cleaning
- glass cleaning
- restock and organize supplies in janitorial closets and storage areas
- clean elevators
- spot clean upholstered furniture and carpets
- dust open common spaces
