Job Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- Less than high school education or up to one-month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid driver’s license if driving a vehicle for work
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to work with coworkers and customers
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Understanding of American units of measure
- Ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
- Ability to use personal protective equipment
- Ability to maintain professional appearance and conduct

- Must have reliable transportation

- Ability to read 2-3 syllable words and recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
- Ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
- Know how to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s
- Know American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, distance and measurements such as cups, pints, quarts, gallons
- Required to have a valid driver's license if driving own vehicle or company vehicle on business time
- Bilingual is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Floor care including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet spotting
- Surface care including dusting, sanitizing, cleaning glass/mirrors/windows, polishing metal/wood, cleaning blinds and draperies
- Waste removal including emptying trash and recycle bins and transporting waste to proper disposal areas
- Light maintenance such as replacing light bulbs and restocking supply cabinets or rooms
- Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures and stop at-risk behaviors
- Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules
- Take direction and respond to supervision
- Use proper personal protective equipment
- Present a professional appearance and conduct
- Understand reporting systems and the environment
- Transport small equipment, tools, chairs, tables, and straighten areas such as lobbies and conference rooms
- Pick up trash, recycling, and compost bins and transport to proper disposal areas
- Assist janitorial staff with restocking restrooms and break rooms between events
- Damp mop floors and clean restrooms
- Clean glass and elevators
- Spot clean upholstered furniture and carpets
- Dust open common spaces and organize supplies in janitorial closets and storage areas
