Job Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- Less than high school education or equivalent experience
- Ability to read basic words and numbers
- Clear printing and communication skills
- Effective communication with team and customers
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Knowledge of American standard measurements
- Valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance if driving
- Willingness to comply with safety and company policies
- Ability to work Monday to Friday 10:30am to 2:30pm
Job Qualifications
- Must have reliable transportation
- Less than high school education or up to one-month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read 2-3 syllable words, recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
- Ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
- Know how to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s
- Know the American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, distance and measures such as cups, pints, quarts, gallons, etc.
- Required to have a valid driver’s license if driving own vehicle or company vehicle on business time, with proof of vehicle registration and insurance
- Bilingual is a plus, not required
Job Duties
- Floor care including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet spotting
- Surface care such as dusting, sanitizing, glass/mirror/window cleaning, metal/wood polishing, and cleaning blinds and draperies
- Waste removal including emptying trash and recycle bins and transporting waste to proper disposal areas
- Light maintenance activities like replacing light bulbs and restocking supply cabinets/rooms
- Complying with safety rules, policies, and procedures and preventing risk behavior
- Following all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules
- Taking direction and responding to supervision
- Using proper personal protective equipment
- Presenting a professional appearance and conduct
- Understanding reporting systems and environmental awareness
- Transporting small equipment, tools, chairs, and tables
- Straightening areas such as lobbies and conference rooms
- Cleaning desktops, restocking restrooms and break rooms, damp mopping floors, cleaning elevators, spot cleaning upholstered furniture and carpets, and dusting open common spaces between events
