Job Requirements

  • Reliable transportation
  • Valid driver’s license if driving own or company vehicle on business time
  • Proof of vehicle registration and insurance if applicable
  • Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions
  • Capacity to communicate effectively with team members and customers
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Willingness to comply with safety protocols and use personal protective equipment
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  • Dependable and hardworking attitude
  • Less than high school education or equivalent experience

Job Qualifications

  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Less than high school education or up to one month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read 2-3 syllable words and recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
  • Ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
  • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
  • Know how to add and subtract two-digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s
  • Knowledge of American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, distance and measures such as cups, pints, quarts, gallons
  • Required to have a valid driver’s license if driving own or company vehicle on business time, must provide proof of vehicle registration and insurance
  • Bilingual is a plus but not required

Job Duties

  • Perform floor care including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet spotting
  • Perform surface care such as dusting, sanitizing, cleaning glass/mirrors/windows, polishing metal and wood, cleaning blinds and draperies
  • Remove waste by emptying trash and recycle bins and transporting waste to proper disposal areas
  • Conduct light maintenance including replacing light bulbs and restocking supply cabinets or rooms
  • Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures to prevent risk behavior
  • Follow all company protocols, procedures, and rules
  • Take direction and respond appropriately to supervision
  • Use proper personal protective equipment
  • Present a professional appearance and conduct
  • Understand reporting systems and environmental standards
  • Transport small equipment, tools, chairs, and tables while maintaining orderly areas such as lobbies and conference rooms
  • Assist janitorial staff with restocking restrooms and break rooms, damp mop floors, clean elevators, and spot clean upholstered furniture and carpets
  • Clean drop-in desktops between events and dust open common spaces
