Job Requirements
- must have reliable transportation
- less than high school education or up to one-month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- ability to read 2-3 syllable words recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
- ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
- ability to communicate effectively with co-workers supervisors managers and customers
- know how to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s
- know the American measures of money weight size length shapes distance and measures such as cups pints quarts gallons etc
- required to have a valid driver’s license if driving own vehicle or company vehicle on business time and have proof of vehicle registration and insurance
- bilingual is a plus but not required

Job Duties
- floor care which includes vacuuming mopping and carpet spotting
- surface care including dusting sanitizing cleaning glass mirrors windows polishing metal and wood cleaning blinds and draperies
- waste removal such as emptying trash and recycle bins transporting trash and waste to proper disposal areas
- light maintenance duties including replacing light bulbs and restocking supply cabinet or room
- comply with safety rules policies and procedures and stopping at risk behavior of self and others
- following all protocols company procedures policies and rules
- taking direction and responding to supervision
- using proper personal protective equipment
- presenting a professional appearance and conduct
- understanding reporting systems and environmental considerations
- transporting small equipment tools chairs and tables and straightening areas such as lobbies and conference rooms
- picking up trash recycling and compost bins and transporting them to proper disposal areas
- light vacuuming dusting and restocking supplies
- cleaning drop in desktops in between events
- assisting janitorial staff with restocking restrooms and break rooms
- damp mopping floors
- restroom cleaning
- glass cleaning
- restocking and organizing supplies in janitorial closets and storage areas
- cleaning elevators
- spot cleaning upholstered furniture and carpets
- dusting open common spaces
