Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Some related experience in cleaning or custodial work
- Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Physical ability to lift, push, pull, or move up to 25 pounds
- Capacity to work in varying weather conditions including outdoors
- Willingness to work evenings or weekends on call in emergencies
- Good communication and observation skills
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Ability to follow safety protocols and directions

Job Duties
- Daily interior cleaning of the building including emptying waste receptacles, debris and trash removal, vacuuming/shampooing floors and carpets, dusting and cleaning furniture, cleaning and restocking restrooms, washing walls, polishing, mopping floors, placing down mats/runners in inclement weather, cleaning up spills, cleaning windows and window coverings, in accordance with established procedures and as directed by a supervisor
- Perform exterior building and premises cleaning and basic maintenance including exterior walls and windows, parking lots and structures, walkways and paths, gardens and lawns, outdoor furnishings, pools/fountains/spas, curbs/gutters, exterior hallways and stairwells
- Assist with minor maintenance and repair work including painting, replacement of light bulbs and fixtures, replacement of windows, moving furniture and equipment, repairing doors and gates, minor landscaping, simple plumbing and fixture repairs/replacements
- Assist with gardening and lawn care, inventory control and supply ordering, snow removal including salting/sanding, and tenant moves as needed
- Promptly notify management of spills, emergency situations, need for building repairs, lights out or broken, broken equipment and fixtures, damaged structures, ruptured pipes/plumbing, issues with heating/cooling/ventilation and other safety concerns
- Properly and safely use and operate equipment, tools, devices, and chemical/cleaning agents to efficiently perform duties and avoid harming floors, fixtures, individuals, and self
