Job Requirements

  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Less than high school education or related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read 2-3 syllable words
  • Ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
  • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
  • Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10s and 100s
  • Knowledge of American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, distance, and related measures
  • Valid driver’s license if driving on business
  • Proof of vehicle registration and insurance
  • Bilingual is a plus, not required

  • Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s
  • Knowledge of American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, distance and measures such as cups, pints, quarts, gallons, etc.
  • Required to have a valid driver’s license if driving own vehicle or company vehicle on business time
  • Bilingual is a plus, not required

Job Duties

  • Floor care such as vacuuming, mopping, carpet spotting
  • Surface care including dusting, sanitizing, glass, mirror, window cleaning, metal and wood polishing, cleaning blinds and draperies
  • Waste removal including emptying trash and recycle bins and transporting waste to proper disposal areas
  • Light maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs and restocking supply cabinets and rooms
  • Complying with safety rules, policies, and procedures while preventing risky behavior
  • Following all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules
  • Taking direction and responding to supervision
  • Using proper personal protective equipment
  • Presenting a professional appearance and conduct
  • Understanding reporting systems and the work environment
  • Transporting small equipment, tools, chairs, and tables, and straightening areas such as lobbies and conference rooms
  • Cleaning drop-in desktops between events and assisting janitorial staff with restocking restrooms and break rooms
  • Damp mopping floors, cleaning restrooms and glass, restocking and organizing janitorial closets and storage areas
  • Cleaning elevators, spot cleaning upholstered furniture and carpets, dusting open common spaces
