Job Requirements
- Less than high school education or up to one-month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to read 2-3 syllable words, recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
- Ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
- Know how to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s
- Know the American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, distance and measures such as cups, pints, quarts, gallons, etc.
- Required to have a valid driver’s license if driving own vehicle or company vehicle on business time, will also require proof of vehicle registration and insurance
- Bilingual is a plus, not required

- Basic math skills including adding and subtracting two-digit numbers and multiplying and dividing by 10s and 100s
- Knowledge of American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, distance, and volume measurements
- Valid driver’s license if driving own or company vehicle during business time
- Bilingual skills are a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Floor care including vacuuming, mopping, carpet spotting
- Surface care such as dusting, sanitizing, glass/mirror/window cleaning, metal/wood polishing, cleaning blinds and draperies
- Waste removal including emptying trash and recycle bins, transporting trash and waste to proper disposal areas
- Light maintenance tasks like replacing light bulbs and restocking supplies
- Complying with safety rules, policies, and procedures
- Following all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules
- Taking direction and responding to supervision
- Using proper personal protective equipment
- Presenting a professional appearance and conduct
- Understanding reporting systems and the work environment
- Transporting small equipment, tools, chairs, and tables
- Cleaning and organizing areas such as lobbies, conference rooms, restrooms, break rooms, elevators, and janitorial closets
- Spot cleaning upholstered furniture and carpets
- Assisting janitorial staff with restocking and general cleaning tasks between events
