Job Requirements
- Less than high school education or equivalent
- Up to one-month related experience or training
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to read simple words and numbers
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Knowledge of American standard measurements
- Valid driver's license if driving vehicle
- Proof of vehicle registration and insurance
- Ability to use personal protective equipment
- Willingness to follow company policies and safety protocols
Job Qualifications
- Must have reliable transportation
- Less than high school education or up to one-month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read 2-3 syllable words, recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
- Ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
- Knowledge of adding and subtracting two-digit numbers and multiplying and dividing by 10s and 100s
- Knowledge of American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, distance, and measures such as cups, pints, quarts, gallons
- Valid driver's license if driving own or company vehicle, with proof of vehicle registration and insurance
- Bilingual is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Floor care such as vacuuming, mopping, and carpet spotting
- Surface care including dusting, sanitizing, glass, mirror, and window cleaning, metal and wood polishing, and cleaning blinds and draperies
- Waste removal like emptying trash and recycle bins and transporting waste to disposal areas
- Light maintenance tasks including replacing light bulbs and restocking supply cabinets or rooms
- Complying with safety rules, policies, and procedures and stopping at-risk behavior
- Following all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules
- Taking direction and responding to supervision
- Using proper personal protective equipment
- Presenting a professional appearance and conduct
- Understanding reporting systems and environmental awareness
- Transporting small equipment, tools, chairs, and tables and straightening areas such as lobbies and conference rooms
- Cleaning drop-in desktops, assisting janitorial staff with restocking restrooms and break rooms
- Damp mopping floors, restroom cleaning, glass cleaning
- Restocking and organizing supplies in janitorial closets and storage areas
- Cleaning elevators
- Spot cleaning upholstered furniture and carpets
- Dusting open common spaces
