Job Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation
- Less than high school education or up to one-month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read two to three syllable words and recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
- Ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
- Knowledge of basic math including addition and subtraction of two-digit numbers and multiplication and division by 10s and 100s
- Knowledge of American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, and volume units such as cups, pints, quarts, and gallons
- Required to have a valid driver’s license if driving own vehicle or company vehicle on business time, with proof of vehicle registration and insurance
- Bilingual is a plus, not required

Job Duties
- Perform floor care including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet spotting
- Execute surface care duties such as dusting, sanitizing, and cleaning glass, mirrors, windows, metal, and wood surfaces
- Remove waste including emptying trash and recycle bins and transporting them to proper disposal areas
- Conduct light maintenance tasks like replacing light bulbs and restocking supply rooms
- Comply with all safety rules, policies, and procedures and intervene in risk behavior
- Follow company protocols, direction, and respond effectively to supervision
- Use proper personal protective equipment and maintain professional appearance and conduct
- Assist in training new custodians and demonstrate work processes
- Transport small equipment and straighten areas including lobbies and conference rooms
- Clean desktops, restock restrooms and break rooms, and spot clean upholstered furniture and carpets
