Job Requirements

  • Must have reliable transportation
  • less than high school education or equivalent experience
  • ability to read two to three syllable words and recognize similarities and differences
  • ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
  • ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
  • ability to perform basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • knowledge of American standard measurements
  • valid driver’s license if required to drive on business
  • proof of vehicle registration and insurance if driving
  • bilingual skills are optional

Job Qualifications

  • less than high school education or up to one-month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • ability to read two to three syllable words and recognize similarities and differences between words and numbers
  • ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
  • effective communication with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
  • ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and multiply and divide by tens and hundreds
  • knowledge of American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, distance, and volume
  • valid driver’s license if driving own or company vehicle with proof of registration and insurance
  • bilingual is a plus but not required

Job Duties

  • Perform floor care including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet spotting
  • dust and sanitize surfaces including glass, mirrors, windows, and polish metal and wood
  • empty trash and recycle bins and transport waste to proper disposal areas
  • perform light maintenance such as replacing light bulbs and restocking supply cabinets
  • comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
  • follow all company protocols, policies, and directions
  • use proper personal protective equipment
  • present a professional appearance and conduct
  • transport small equipment and straighten areas like lobbies and conference rooms
  • assist janitorial staff with restocking restrooms and break rooms and clean elevators
  • spot clean upholstered furniture and carpets and dust open common spaces
