Job Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation
- Less than high school education or equivalent experience
- Ability to read and recognize words and numbers
- Ability to communicate clearly
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Knowledge of standard American measurements
- Valid driver’s license if operating a vehicle
- Proof of vehicle registration and insurance if driving
- Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to use personal protective equipment
- Ability to maintain professional appearance and conduct
Job Qualifications
- Must have reliable transportation
- Less than high school education or up to one-month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read 2-3 syllable words, recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
- Ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
- Know how to add and subtract two-digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10s and 100s
- Knowledge of American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, distance, and measures like cups, pints, quarts, gallons
- Required to have a valid driver’s license if driving own or company vehicle on business time, with proof of vehicle registration and insurance
- Bilingual is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Floor care including vacuuming, mopping, carpet spotting
- Surface care such as dusting, sanitizing, glass/mirror/window cleaning, metal/wood polishing, cleaning blinds and draperies
- Waste removal including emptying trash and recycle bins, transporting waste to proper disposal areas
- Light maintenance like replacing light bulbs and restocking supply cabinets/rooms
- Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
- Follow all company protocols, procedures, policies, and rules
- Take direction and respond well to supervision
- Use proper personal protective equipment
- Present a professional appearance and conduct
- Understand reporting systems and the working environment
- Transport small equipment, tools, chairs, tables, straighten areas like lobbies and conference rooms
- Clean drop-in desktops, assist janitorial staff with restocking restrooms and break rooms, damp mop floors, clean restrooms and elevators, spot clean upholstered furniture and carpets, dust open common spaces
