Job Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation
- Less than high school education or up to one month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read two to three syllable words and recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
- Ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
- Knowledge of basic arithmetic including adding, subtracting two-digit numbers, multiplying and dividing by 10s and 100s
- Knowledge of American measures of money, weight, size, length, and volume
- Required to have a valid driver's license if driving own vehicle or company vehicle on business time with proof of registration and insurance
- Bilingual is a plus but not required

Job Duties
- Perform floor care including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet spotting
- Provide surface care such as dusting, sanitizing, cleaning glass, mirrors, windows, polishing metal and wood surfaces, and cleaning blinds and draperies
- Remove waste by emptying trash and recycle bins and transporting waste to proper disposal areas
- Conduct light maintenance tasks including replacing light bulbs and restocking supply cabinets or rooms
- Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures, and intervene in at-risk behaviors
- Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules
- Take direction and respond effectively to supervision
- Use proper personal protective equipment
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct
- Understand and utilize reporting systems related to the work environment
- Transport small equipment and furniture, organize common areas, and assist with cleaning tasks during event transitions
- Clean and restock restrooms and break rooms, dust and maintain upholstered furniture and carpets, and clean elevators and common spaces
- Support janitorial staff with various cleaning and restocking duties
