Job Requirements
- Must pass a pre-employment screening including Level-II Background Check and drug test
- adhere to grooming standards including no visible tattoos and short nails
- compliance with badging requirements
- reliability and punctuality in attending work
- ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30lbs
- ability to work with chemicals including bleach
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in custodial or janitorial work preferred
- ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- effective communication skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- good physical condition to perform manual labor tasks
Job Duties
- Sweep or vacuum hard surface and carpeted floors
- wet mop only in case of emergency spills
- remove dust from work surfaces, furniture, and other horizontal and vertical surfaces
- clean walls, furniture, doors, tapestries, baseboards
- clean bathrooms including toilets, urinals, partitions, sinks, counters, mirrors, floors, and walls
- stock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms, and kitchen
- clean entrance glass and other interior glass
- remove trash from containers and replace torn or dirty liners
- report building and equipment maintenance issues to supervisor
- arrive at work on time, perform services to established standards, and ensure the customer’s premises are securely closed and locked when the shift ends
- respond positively and quickly to customer work instructions
- comply with all security policies and procedures
- perform additional duties as assigned
