Job Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation
- Possess less than high school education or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Be able to read and comprehend 2-3 syllable words and identify similarities/differences in words and number series
- Have clear printing and simple sentence-speaking abilities
- Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, managers, and customers
- Have basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Understand American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, and volume
- Have a valid driver's license if driving a personal or company vehicle
- Provide proof of vehicle registration and insurance if applicable
- Having bilingual skills is advantageous but not mandatory
Job Qualifications
- Less than high school education or up to one month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read 2-3 syllable words and recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
- Ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
- Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, managers, and customers
- Basic arithmetic skills including addition and subtraction of two-digit numbers, multiplication, and division with 10s and 100s
- Knowledge of American measurement units such as money, weight, size, length, shapes, and volume measurements
- Valid driver's license if driving company or personal vehicle
- Proof of vehicle registration and insurance if applicable
- Bilingual skills are a plus but not required
- Reliable transportation
Job Duties
- Perform floor care including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet spotting
- Conduct surface care such as dusting, sanitizing, cleaning windows, mirrors, and polishing metal and wood
- Remove waste by emptying trash and recyclables and transporting them to proper disposal areas
- Carry out light maintenance activities like replacing light bulbs and restocking supply cabinets and rooms
- Comply with all safety rules, policies, and procedures and prevent risky behaviors
- Follow company protocols, procedures, policies, and rules accurately
- Take direction from supervisors and respond appropriately to supervision
- Use personal protective equipment properly at all times
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct
- Understand and use reporting systems effectively
- Transport small equipment and straighten common areas including lobbies and conference rooms
- Assist janitorial staff with restocking restrooms and break rooms
- Clean elevators, spot clean upholstered furniture and carpets, and dust open common spaces
- Clean drop-in desktops during in-between event periods
- Present exceptional customer service when interacting with coworkers, supervisors, managers, and customers
