Job Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation
- Less than high school education or up to one month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read 2-3 syllable words and recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
- Ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
- Knowledge of basic arithmetic including adding and subtracting two-digit numbers and multiplying and dividing by 10s and 100s
- Understanding of American measures such as money, weight, size, length, shapes, distance, and volume measurements
- Required to have a valid driver’s license if driving own or company vehicle, including proof of vehicle registration and insurance

Job Duties
- Perform floor care including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet spotting
- Carry out surface care by dusting, sanitizing, glass/mirror/window cleaning, metal/wood polishing, and cleaning blinds and draperies
- Handle waste removal by emptying trash and recycle bins and transporting waste to proper disposal areas
- Perform light maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs and restocking supply cabinets and rooms
- Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures and stop at-risk behavior
- Follow all company protocols, procedures, policies, and rules
- Take direction and respond to supervision
- Use proper personal protective equipment
- Present a professional appearance and conduct
- Understand reporting systems and the environment
- Transport small equipment, tools, chairs, and tables and straighten areas such as lobbies and conference rooms
- Pick up trash, recycling, and compost bins and transport to proper disposal areas
- Clean drop-in desktops between events
- Assist janitorial staff with restocking restrooms and break rooms
- Damp mop floors
- Clean restrooms and glass surfaces
- Restock and organize supplies in janitorial closets and storage areas
- Clean elevators
- Spot clean upholstered furniture and carpets
- Dust open common spaces
