Job Requirements
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to stand, walk, sit for long periods, climb stairs, kneel, crouch, lift and move at least 40 pounds
- Ability to safely use cleaning equipment
- Ability to comply with airport security screening
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Safety training completion
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 6 or more months experience in commercial facilities and building janitorial work desired
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Completion of significant safety training
Job Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting various areas within assigned area
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygienic conditions at all times
- Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables in designated areas
- Respond promptly to spills and other cleaning emergencies to ensure safety
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and other objects
- Maintain and operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
- Monitor and report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors
- Ensure compliance with airport security and safety regulations
- Assist in special cleaning projects as needed
- Other duties as assigned
