Job Requirements
- must have reliable transportation
- less than high school education or up to one-month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- ability to read 2-3 syllable words and recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
- ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
- ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
- basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with 10s and 100s
- knowledge of American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, and common volume measurements
- valid driver’s license if driving own vehicle or company vehicle on business time with proof of vehicle registration and insurance
- bilingual is a plus but not required

Job Duties
- perform floor care such as vacuuming, mopping, carpet spotting
- maintain surface care including dusting, sanitizing, cleaning glass, mirrors, windows, metal, wood polishing, and cleaning blinds and draperies
- empty trash and recycle bins and transport waste to proper disposal areas
- conduct light maintenance tasks including replacing light bulbs and restocking supply cabinets
- comply with all safety rules, policies, and procedures and address risk behaviors
- follow all company protocols, procedures, policies, and rules
- take direction and respond to supervision
- use personal protective equipment properly
- present a professional appearance and conduct
- understand and use reporting systems and environmental knowledge
- transport small equipment, tools, chairs, and tables
- clean and organize areas such as lobbies and conference rooms
- assist janitorial staff with restocking restrooms and break rooms
- clean elevators and spot clean upholstered furniture and carpets
- dust open common spaces
- clean desktops in between events
