Job Requirements
- less than high school education or equivalent
- up to one month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- ability to read simple words and phrases
- ability to communicate clearly
- ability to perform basic math operations
- valid driver’s license if driving for work with proof of insurance and registration
- reliable transportation
- able to follow oral and written instructions
- ability to work as part of a team
- willing to comply with safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- must have reliable transportation
- less than high school education or up to one month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- ability to read two to three syllable words recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
- ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
- ability to communicate effectively with co-workers supervisors managers and customers
- know how to add and subtract two-digit numbers and multiply and divide with tens and hundreds
- know American measures of money weight size length shapes distance and volume
- required to have a valid driver’s license if driving own vehicle or company vehicle on business time with proof of vehicle registration and insurance
- bilingual is a plus not required
Job Duties
- floor care including vacuuming mopping and carpet spotting
- surface care such as dusting sanitizing glass mirror window cleaning metal wood polishing cleaning blinds and draperies
- waste removal including emptying trash and recycle bins transporting trash to disposal areas
- light maintenance tasks like replacing light bulbs and restocking supply cabinets
- compliance with safety rules policies and procedures and stopping any risk behavior
- following all protocols company procedures policies and rules
- taking direction and responding to supervision
- using proper personal protective equipment
- presenting a professional appearance and conduct
- understanding reporting systems and the environment
- transporting small equipment tools chairs tables and straightening areas like lobbies and conference rooms
- cleaning tasks between events including desktops restocking restrooms and break rooms damp mopping floors restroom cleaning glass cleaning restocking janitorial supplies cleaning elevators spot cleaning furniture and carpets and dusting common spaces
