Job Requirements

Must have reliable transportation
Less than high school education or up to one-month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to read 2-3 syllable words, recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
Ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
Must know how to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s
Must know the American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, distance and measures such as cups, pints, quarts, gallons, etc
Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle registration and insurance if driving own or company vehicle
Bilingual is a plus but not required

Job Duties

Floor care including vacuuming, mopping, carpet spotting
Surface care including dusting, sanitizing, glass/mirror/window cleaning, metal/wood polishing, cleaning blinds and draperies
Waste removal including emptying trash and recycle bins, transporting waste to disposal areas
Light maintenance including replacing light bulbs, restocking supply cabinets and rooms
Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules
Take direction and respond to supervision
Use proper personal protective equipment
Present a professional appearance and conduct
Understand reporting systems and the work environment
Transport small equipment, tools, chairs, and tables
Clean lobbies, conference rooms, and common areas
Assist janitorial staff with restocking restrooms and break rooms
Perform restroom cleaning, glass cleaning, and spot cleaning of upholstered furniture and carpets
