Job Requirements

Must have reliable transportation
Less than high school education or related experience or training up to one month or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to read 2-3 syllable words and recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
Ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, managers, and customers
Knowledge of basic arithmetic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with multiples of 10 and 100
Knowledge of American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, and volume
Required to have a valid driver’s license if driving company or personal vehicle on business time, with proof of vehicle registration and insurance
Bilingual ability is a plus but not mandatory

Job Duties

Perform floor care including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet spotting
Dust, sanitize, clean glass, mirrors, windows, and polish metal and wood surfaces
Empty trash and recycling bins and transport waste to designated disposal areas
Replace light bulbs and restock supply cabinets or rooms as needed
Adhere to safety rules, policies, and procedures and address any risky behavior
Follow all company protocols and respond appropriately to supervision
Use proper personal protective equipment at all times
Maintain a professional appearance and conduct
Report environmental conditions and utilize reporting systems effectively
Transport small equipment, tools, chairs, and tables to organize areas such as lobbies and conference rooms
Clean and restock restrooms and break rooms, damp mop floors, clean glass surfaces, spot clean furniture and carpets, and dust common spaces during downtime
