Job Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation
- Less than high school education or up to one-month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read 2-3 syllable words, recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
- Ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
- Know how to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s
- Know the American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, distance and measures such as, cups, pints, quarts, gallons, etc
- Require valid driver’s license if driving vehicle on business time and proof of registration and insurance
- Bilingual is a plus but not required
Job Qualifications

- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division by tens and hundreds
- Knowledge of American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, and volume units such as cups, pints, quarts, gallons
- Valid driver’s license if driving own or company vehicle with proof of registration and insurance
- Bilingual skills are a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Perform floor care including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet spotting
- Conduct surface care such as dusting, sanitizing, glass/mirror/window cleaning, and polishing
- Remove waste by emptying trash and recycling bins and transporting waste to disposal areas
- Perform light maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs and restocking supply cabinets
- Comply with all safety rules, policies, and procedures and intervene in risky behaviors
- Follow company protocols and procedures accurately
- Take direction and respond effectively to supervision
- Use proper personal protective equipment consistently
- Present a professional appearance and conduct at all times
- Understand and use reporting systems related to environment and maintenance
- Transport small equipment, chairs, tables, and clean and organize common areas
- Assist janitorial staff with restocking restrooms and break rooms and clean elevators and furniture
- Perform spot cleaning and dusting in open common spaces
- Clean and maintain desktops in between events to ensure cleanliness and presentation
