Job Requirements

  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Less than high school education or up to one-month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read 2-3 syllable words
  • Ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
  • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
  • Knowledge of basic arithmetic including adding and subtracting two-digit numbers, multiplying and dividing by 10s and 100s
  • Knowledge of American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, distance and common volume measures such as cups, pints, quarts, gallons
  • Valid driver’s license with proof of vehicle registration and insurance if driving vehicle on company business
  • Bilingual is a plus

  • Knowledge of American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, distance and common volume measures such as cups, pints, quarts, gallons
  • Required to have a valid driver’s license if driving own or company vehicle on business time and proof of vehicle registration and insurance
  • Bilingual is a plus but not required

Job Duties

  • Floor care vacuuming, mopping, carpet spotting
  • Surface care dusting, sanitizing, glass, mirror, window cleaning, metal, wood polishing, clean blinds and draperies
  • Waste removal empty trash and recycle bins, transport trash and waste to proper disposal areas
  • Light maintenance replace light bulbs, restock supply cabinet or room
  • Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
  • Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules
  • Take direction and respond to supervision
  • Use proper personal protective equipment
  • Present a professional appearance and conduct
  • Understand reporting systems and of the environment
  • Transport small equipment, tools, chairs, and tables, straighten areas such as lobbies and conference rooms
  • Clean drop in desktops, assist janitorial staff with restocking restrooms and break rooms, damp mop floors, restroom cleaning, glass cleaning, restock and organize supplies in janitorial closets and storage areas, clean elevators, spot clean upholstered furniture and carpets, dust open common spaces
