Job Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation
- less than high school education or up to one-month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- ability to read 2-3 syllable words and recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
- ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
- ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
- knowledge of basic arithmetic operations with two-digit numbers and multiples of 10 and 100
- understanding of American customary units of measurement such as money, weight, size, length, and volume
- valid driver’s license required if operating a vehicle for work purposes along with proof of registration and insurance
- bilingual skills are advantageous but not mandatory

- required to have a valid driver’s license if driving own vehicle or company vehicle on business time and have proof of vehicle registration and insurance
- bilingual is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Perform floor care including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet spotting
- conduct surface care duties such as dusting, sanitizing, cleaning windows, mirrors, and polishing metal or wood surfaces
- remove waste by emptying trash and recycle bins and transporting waste to disposal areas
- execute light maintenance tasks including replacing light bulbs and restocking supply cabinets
- comply with company safety rules, policies, and procedures and address risky behavior
- follow all company protocols, policies, and rules
- respond to supervision and take direction effectively
- use proper personal protective equipment at all times
- maintain a professional appearance and conduct
- understand reporting systems related to the work environment
- transport small equipment and tools, straighten areas such as lobbies and conference rooms
- clean drop-in desktops between events
- assist janitorial staff with restocking restrooms and break rooms
- mop floors and clean restrooms and glass surfaces
- organize supplies in janitorial closets and storage areas
- clean elevators, spot clean upholstered furniture and carpets
- dust open common spaces
