Job Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation
- Less than high school education or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, and communicate basic information clearly
- Basic math skills
- Valid driver’s license and proof of registration and insurance if operating a vehicle for work
- Ability to use personal protective equipment
- Ability to follow instructions and company policies
- Ability to work Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Job Qualifications
- Reliable transportation
- Less than high school education or up to one month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read two to three syllable words and recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
- Ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
- Effective communication skills with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
- Basic arithmetic skills including adding and subtracting two-digit numbers, and multiplying and dividing by 10s and 100s
- Knowledge of American measurements including money, weight, size, length, shapes, distance, and volume measures such as cups, pints, quarts, and gallons
- Valid driver’s license, proof of vehicle registration, and insurance if driving own or company vehicle
- Bilingual skills are a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Perform floor care including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet spotting
- Perform surface care tasks such as dusting, sanitizing, cleaning glass, mirrors, and windows, polishing metal and wood, and cleaning blinds and draperies
- Remove waste by emptying trash and recycle bins and transporting waste to proper disposal areas
- Conduct light maintenance duties including replacing light bulbs and restocking supply cabinets and rooms
- Comply with all safety rules, policies, and procedures and intervene to stop risky behavior
- Follow company protocols, procedures, policies, and rules accurately
- Take direction and respond appropriately to supervision
- Use proper personal protective equipment at all times
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct
- Understand and use reporting systems effectively
- Transport small equipment, tools, chairs, and tables, straighten areas such as lobbies and conference rooms
- Clean desktops between events, assist janitorial staff with restroom and break room restocking, damp mop floors, clean restrooms and glass surfaces, restock and organize janitorial closets and storage areas, clean elevators, spot clean upholstered furniture and carpets, and dust open common spaces
