Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license if driving
- Reliable transportation
- Proof of vehicle registration and insurance if driving own or company vehicle
- Less than high school education or equivalent experience
- Basic reading skills
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to use personal protective equipment
- Ability to work with and assist others
- Availability to work Monday through Friday 6:30 am to 3:00 pm
Job Qualifications
- Must have reliable transportation
- Less than high school education or up to one-month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read 2-3 syllable words, recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
- Ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
- Know how to add and subtract two-digit numbers, and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s
- Know the American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, distance and measures such as cups, pints, quarts, gallons
- Required to have a valid driver’s license if driving own vehicle or company vehicle on business time, with proof of vehicle registration and insurance
- Bilingual is a plus, not required
Job Duties
- Floor care including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet spotting
- Surface care such as dusting, sanitizing, glass, mirror, and window cleaning, metal and wood polishing, and cleaning blinds and draperies
- Waste removal including emptying trash and recycle bins and transporting trash to proper disposal areas
- Light maintenance tasks like replacing light bulbs and restocking supply cabinets or rooms
- Complying with safety rules, policies, and procedures and stopping at-risk behavior of self and others
- Following all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules
- Taking direction and responding to supervision
- Using proper personal protective equipment
- Presenting a professional appearance and conduct
- Understanding reporting systems and of the environment
- Transporting small equipment, tools, chairs, and tables and straightening areas such as lobbies and conference rooms
- Cleaning drop-in desktops between events
- Assisting janitorial staff with restroom and break room restocking
- Damp mopping floors
- Cleaning restrooms and glass
- Restocking and organizing supplies in janitorial closets and storage areas
- Cleaning elevators
- Spot cleaning upholstered furniture and carpets
- Dusting open common spaces
