Job Requirements
- must be at least 19 years old due to alcohol serving laws
- must obtain liquor server/seller permit and prep cook food handlers license from local authorities
- licenses cost initially paid by employee and reimbursed after six months of service with minimum 20 hours per month
- previous experience may be certified after hire and eligible for additional pay
- willingness to work extended and irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- able to lift 50 pounds periodically
- able to work on feet entire shift
Job Qualifications
- honest, trustworthy, reliable and flexible
- agriculture, animal, 4-h, ffa, rodeo or nature background or interest preferred
- prior cook or food service experience preferred
- willingness to learn and work hard providing professional, friendly service to diverse guests
- positive attitude with strong work ethic and attention to detail
- ability to follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively
- ability to work well under pressure
- willingness to work during events that involve animals and outdoor environments
- ability to lift 50 pounds periodically and to stand entire shifts
Job Duties
- food preparation and service in accordance with health department regulations and guidelines
- correctly operate all food service equipment
- follow proper food handling procedures
- bartending
- cash handling including accurate counting of start-up and ending cash drawers
- use of clover/pos systems and etix software on provided ipads to sell food, beverage, general store services and event tickets
- merchandise and supply restocking and facility upkeep
