Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1+ years’ bartending experience in a full-service restaurant (liquor, beer, and wine)
  • Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine, and beer
  • A desire to help where needed and work as part of a team
  • Ability to work positively and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire bar area and service wells
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Exhibit a professional appearance and mannerisms
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
  • Must be able to stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop, and wipe for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to carry trays and supplies (up to 50 lbs)
  • Must be of legal age to pour and serve alcohol
  • Food Handler Certification
  • Responsible Alcohol Service Certification

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve beverages consistently adhering to all recipe standards
  • Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies
  • Anticipate guests’ needs and exceed guest service expectations
  • Be knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the menu, with the ability to answer questions and make suggestions
  • Take orders, serve bar patrons, and process payment
  • Keep designated service stations clean and organized
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory
  • Ensure guests are enjoying their experience and take action to correct any problems
  • Conclude the guest experience by acknowledging choice of establishment and inviting patrons to return
  • Complete assigned sidework at the beginning, during, and at end of shift
