Job Requirements
- Ability to speak, read and write English
- ability to read and write handwritten guest checks, notes, etc
- able to deliver plates, and clear tables of plates and glasses, which may require lifting up to 50 lbs
- can physically stand or walk 100 percent of shift
- can reach, bend, stoop frequently
- complete and pass Florida Responsible Vendor program in compliance with Flanigan's and Florida statutes
- complete and pass food safety certification program in compliance with Flanigan's and Florida statutes

Job Duties
- Follow all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training
- support fellow employees in maintaining table appearance food and drink running as needed
- be knowledgeable regarding food and beverage menus and items current food and drink promotions and specials and answer guests questions verbally and clearly
- accurately write down guests orders and enter into POS system in a timely manner
- retrieve food or drink orders from kitchen or bar area and deliver them to guests in a timely manner
- assess guests demeanor and identify when to summon a manager
- collect guests payments credit cards cash or gift cards only ensure transactions are correct using POS efficiently calculate and deliver correct change to guests in a timely manner
- perform shift changes opening closing duties assigned sidework
- restock and maintain restroom cleanliness for guests
