Job Requirements
- Be 18 years or older (21 or older for alcohol deliveries)
- Have a valid driver’s license or relevant identification
- Own or have access to a car, scooter, or bicycle (depending on location)
- Provide a valid social security number if delivering in the US
- Have consistent access to a smartphone
- Pass a background check and ID verification
- Ability to lift and carry items up to a reasonable weight
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous delivery or customer service experience is a plus but not required
- Familiarity with smartphone technology and apps
- Ability to navigate efficiently in your delivery area
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Reliable transportation such as car, scooter, or bicycle
- Age 18 or older (21+ for alcohol deliveries)
Job Duties
- Pick up orders from restaurants, stores, and grocery locations
- Deliver orders efficiently and safely to customers
- Use the DoorDash Dasher app to accept and manage deliveries
- Ensure food and items are handled with care during transportation
- Maintain communication with customers and support if needed
- Manage earnings through the app and cash out as desired
- Follow all local traffic laws and DoorDash guidelines
