- Have a valid driver’s license
- Provide a social security number (only in the US)
- Consistent access to a smartphone
- Have any car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
- Successfully complete identity verification
- Meet eligibility requirements for DoorDash Crimson Deposit Account
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old (21 or older to deliver alcohol)
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Ability to use a smartphone and the DoorDash app
- Reliable vehicle, scooter, or bicycle depending on location
- Good geographic knowledge of the delivery area
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Prior delivery or customer service experience is a plus
Job Duties
- Pick up food, grocery, or retail orders from assigned merchants
- Deliver orders to customers promptly and safely
- Use the DoorDash app to manage orders and navigate delivery routes
- Communicate with customers and support for any order-related issues
- Handle payments and cash out earnings using the DoorDash app
- Maintain a high standard of customer service during delivery
- Follow all local traffic and safety regulations while on deliveries
