- 18+ years old (21+ to deliver alcohol)
- Have access to any car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Provide a social security number (only in the US)
- Consistent access to a smartphone
- Successfully pass ID verification
- Ability to work flexible hours
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous delivery or customer service experience is a plus
- Ability to use a smartphone and smartphone apps effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable and punctual with good time management
- Familiarity with local geography and routes
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Job Duties
- Pick up orders from restaurants, groceries, or retail stores
- Deliver orders promptly and accurately to customers
- Use the DoorDash Dasher app to manage delivery requests
- Communicate with customers and support teams as needed
- Handle and secure orders with care during transit
- Maintain efficient routes and schedule to maximize earnings
- Adhere to local traffic laws and safety regulations
