Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older (21+ to deliver alcohol)
- have access to a car, scooter, or bicycle in select cities
- possess a valid driver's license
- provide social security number (US only)
- have consistent access to a smartphone
- subject to eligibility requirements and successful ID verification
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- familiarity with local delivery areas and traffic patterns
- ability to use a smartphone and mobile apps proficiently
- strong communication and customer service skills
- basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
- ability to manage time effectively and work independently
- prior delivery or driving experience is a plus
Job Duties
- Pick up orders from restaurants, grocery stores, or retail locations
- deliver orders promptly and accurately to customers
- manage delivery schedule and availability independently
- use the DoorDash Dasher app to accept orders and navigate routes
- provide excellent customer service during deliveries
- maintain communication with customers and support teams when necessary
- ensure proper handling of food and goods to meet quality standards
