Job Requirements

18 years or older
valid driver's license
consistent access to a smartphone
social security number (US only)
ability to use a car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
must be 21 or older to deliver alcohol in applicable states
eligibility and successful ID verification
able to work flexible hours

good communication skills for customer interaction

Job Duties

pick up orders from restaurants, grocery stores, or retail locations
deliver orders promptly and accurately to customers
maintain communication with dispatch and customers concerning order status
handle and transport items with care to ensure quality
manage delivery schedules to maximize earning potential
use the DoorDash Dasher app effectively to receive and complete orders
follow local traffic laws and safety guidelines while dashing
