Job Description
This position is based at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, and is part of the Morale Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Child and Youth Services (CYS) team. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Possess a social security card
- Must meet qualification, eligibility, and background requirements for the position
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check
- May be required to complete a one-year probationary period
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks including Child Care Tier 1 background investigation
- Must have a current health assessment documenting good mental and physical health and immunizations per Army and DoD policies including annual influenza vaccinations
- Must demonstrate satisfactory performance, successful completion of training requirements, and competency on the job
- Position requires working with computers, peripherals, software, and common hand and electrical tools
- Failure to achieve desired training with competence may result in separation

Job Qualifications
- Be able to communicate in English verbally and written
- Be at least 18 years of age at time of employment
- Possess and maintain ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs, walk, bend, stoop, and stand on a routine basis
- Possess and maintain health and freedom from communicable disease
- Possess knowledge and demonstrated skill in Microsoft Windows and applications using the Internet including email, searching, and web page design
- Possess a professional certificate or higher related to computer science/information technology or 24 months of experience working in the related field
- Resumes must be two pages or less and clearly demonstrate relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and abilities
Job Duties
- Responsible for the operation of the Child and Youth Services Technology Lab in accordance with applicable regulations
- Plan, coordinate, and conduct activities for program participants
- Create a positive environment in CYS Technology Lab with appropriate materials and supplies to supplement computer software programs and Internet access
- Provide supervision, oversight, and accountability for program participants
- Ensure computer, peripherals, and software are maintained in good condition and working order
- Troubleshoot CYS hardware, printers, scanners, servers, and software
- Interact with children and youth using approved child guidance and youth development techniques, promoting safety, fitness, health, and nutrition practices
- Train children/youth in use of equipment and software programs
- Ensure assigned area achieves and maintains standards for DoD/Army certification and national accreditation or Army equivalent
