Job Description

The Child and Youth Program Cook position is an essential role within a Child Development Center (CDC), focused on preparing and serving nutritious meals to children and youth participating in the program. This position not only supports the CDC but may also assist the School Age Care (SAC) Program with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring that all meals provided meet strict standards of quality and safety. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • provide copy of diploma, GED, or college transcripts upon application
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • experience in quantity food preparation
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • skills in recipe development and food quality control
  • ability to coordinate multiple cooking processes simultaneously
