Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class B commercial driver's license with required endorsements or willingness to obtain them
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Physical ability to lift equipment weighing 50 to 75 pounds
- Ability to operate delivery vehicles safely
- Satisfy English language proficiency requirements
- Willingness to adhere to company safety standards
- Commitment to excellent customer service
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of a Class B commercial driver's license (CDL) with HAZMAT, tanker, and air brake endorsements
- Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate allowing for operation in interstate commerce
- Ability to lift and pull equipment weighing 50 to 75 pounds
- Exceptional customer service skills
- English language proficiency as per 49 CFR §391.11(b)(2)
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and company procedures
- Strong communication skills
Job Duties
- Deliver cylinders locally (home every night) in a safe and efficient manner
- Maintain the delivery truck including reviewing maintenance records, performing inspections, and reporting vehicle conditions requiring attention
- Provide superior customer service
- Account for funds and inventory using a user-friendly handheld terminal
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately and timely
