Job Requirements
- 2 years of relevant experience in customs brokerage or international trade
- strong understanding of customs systems and entry processes
- knowledge of customs regulations, tariff classifications, and trade compliance requirements
- excellent communication and presentation skills
- strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- willingness to travel for in-person training sessions
Job Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in customs brokerage, international trade, or related field
- strong understanding of customs systems
- ability to learn quickly and operationalize Flexport's systems into clear instructions
- strong understanding of customs entry processes and procedures
- knowledge of customs regulations, tariff classifications, and trade compliance requirements
- excellent communication and presentation skills
- strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- willingness to travel as needed for in-person trainings
- licensed customs broker or progress toward licensing
- experience in training, education, or knowledge management roles
- understanding of trade agreements and preferential duty programs
Job Duties
- Develop and deliver training materials on customs entry processes, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- create and maintain educational resources including process guides, work instructions, videos, system tutorials, and/or in-person trainings
- conduct onboarding sessions for new team members on customs brokerage fundamentals to support Associate Managers and Managers
- support continuous learning initiatives and stay current with regulatory changes and industry best practices
- facilitate workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions across operational teams as recommended by Customs Compliance and Head of Customs
- collaborate with operations teams to identify process improvement opportunities
- help resolve entry-related issues and support problem-solving efforts
- review all training materials and operational guidance to reflect current regulatory requirements in combination with Customs Compliance
- support compliant use of internal systems and processes
