Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Coordinate documentation required by US Customs and government agencies for entry of goods into the US on behalf of importers
- provide impeccable customer service
- process commodities requiring specialized handling to reduce risk of liquidated damages and penalties
- obtain correct classification of goods from databases, SOPs, tariff books, internet or customs
- perform data entry and processing of import documentation for US Customs and PGAs
- maintain shipment documentation in compliance with record keeping requirements
- adhere to international import and export regulations
- collaborate with internal staff, departments, customers and government agencies
- process agency brokerage shipments
- handle remote filings
- perform entry reconciliations
- ensure government and organizational policy compliance
- follow up on customs matters and resolve issues
- perform entry reviews
- perform other duties as assigned
