Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 6 months work experience required
  • Data entry and keyboard experience required
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and email applications
  • Excellent communication skills verbal and written
  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to manage high volume of work
  • Ability to handle time sensitive tasks
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Job Duties

  • Coordinate documentation required by US Customs and government agencies for goods entry
  • Provide impeccable customer service
  • Process commodities requiring specialized handling to reduce risks of penalties
  • Obtain correct classification of goods from various resources
  • Data entry and processing of import-related documents for customs submission
  • Maintain shipment documentation compliance with record-keeping standards
  • Adhere to international import/export regulations
  • Collaborate with internal staff, departments, customers and government agencies
  • Process agency brokerage shipments
  • Handle remote filings
  • Perform entry reconciliations and reviews
  • Follow up on customs issues and resolve problems
  • Ensure compliance with government and organizational policies
